Clinic Policies

Health & COVID-19

Your health and the health of others are my top priority. If you are contagious or are experiencing any symptoms of a contagious illness, including but not limited to Covid-19, or have been recently exposed to the virus, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance to make scheduling modifications. Please do not come in for your appointment or participate in any behavior that may put other people at risk.

Parking

Free and paid street parking is generally available around the clinic. The clinic does not currently offer a reserved spot for patients. The clinic is not responsible for theft, damages, towing, tickets, or other issues that may result from parking in relation to treatments or clinic services. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to secure and manage your vehicle while it is parked.

Check-in Procedure

If the building’s main door is not open to the public, please call or text the clinic number at (619) 289-9336 to notify me upon your arrival. I will come to the door to let you in.

Late Arrival Policy

If you arrive late to your appointment, your session may be shortened to remain within your scheduled time-frame. When unexpected events arise, I will do my best to work with you. However, please be aware that arriving late may not allow me to extend the time for your session, which may impact the intended benefits of your treatment.

Late Rescheduling and Cancellation

Due to my responsibility to other patients and to maintaining a smooth and efficient schedule, I have implemented the following policy:

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, I kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours notice via email (diego@gatewayacu.com) or text (619-289-9336). If less than 24 hours notice is given, a fee of 50% of the scheduled session's value will be charged. If less than 12 hours notice is given, or you are absent from the session without notice, the full value of the scheduled session will be charged.

I understand that unexpected situations can happen, and I will try to accommodate you in the event of those emergencies. However, I kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in managing the clinic schedule and serving all patients effectively.

Expiration

To ensure that you can fully take advantage of your purchases, I have implemented a one-year window for claiming and using all goods and services purchased through the clinic. This means that any products or services you acquire must be redeemed within one year of the date of purchase, after which they will be deemed expired and will no longer be valid.

Please note that this expiration policy does not apply to monthly subscriptions for goods and services. These subscriptions must be fully redeemed within 30 days of purchase. This policy allows you to fully benefit from your monthly subscription while giving you the flexibility to redeem it within a reasonable timeframe.

Refund

If for any reason you are not satisfied with a service that you have purchased in advance, and it has not been redeemed yet, I am happy to offer a refund. Please note that any refund will be calculated by subtracting the actual cost of any services received, and any bundled service discounts will be substracted.

Please be advised that I do not offer refunds on nutritional or herbal products, as they are perishable items.
