I'm a gay immigrant from Venezuela with a background in engineering, nutrition science, and nearly a decade as a strength and conditioning coach. I've spent my life fascinated by how the body works, but Western medicine's reductionist approach always left me searching for something more—a system that could honor both the precision of science and the mystery of what it means to be alive. That search led me to Daoist Alchemy and Classical Chinese Medicine.

When I received my 13 Ghost Points treatment, everything changed.

It released a pattern of spiritual friction that held me back from fully stepping into my role as a healer.

Classical Chinese Medicine sees the body not as broken and needed correction, but as perfect and whole. Daoist Alchemy takes this further, addressing the spiritual patterns that live in the body and shape our lives.

Together, they offered what I'd been searching for: medicine that treats the whole person with both rigor and reverence.

My Path to This Medicine

What Sets My Training Apart

My approach is rooted in two rare and rigorous lineages:

Daoist Alchemy with Leta Herman

I completed a three-year Master of Alchemy Apprenticeship Program with Leta Herman, studying directly under her tutelage as a student of Master Jeffrey Yuen—an 88th-generation Daoist priest and lineage holder of this rare tradition.

During the extent of my program, I attended bi-annual workshops (5 days) that combined countless hours of clinical demonstrations, hands-on supervision, and deep theoretical study. I have received from my teacher every treatment I offer and continue my own journey through the 9 Stages of Alchemy—because you cannot guide others through what you haven't experienced yourself.

Acupuncture with Ann Cecil-Sterman

I completed direct mentorship intensive with Ann Cecil-Sterman, one of the foremost teachers of Classical Chinese Medicine in the West. Her lineage traces back to Jeffrey Yuen, an 88th-generation Daoist priest. Classical acupuncture is a complete channel-based system that treats the root cause of disease through pulse diagnosis and precise meridian activation using both the primary and complement acupuncture channels. By contrast, TCM clinics tend to work within the primary channel system only. Working with the complete channel system allows me the confidence to address the needs of any person who walks through the doors.

These aren't weekend certifications. They represent years of rigorous study, commitment, and personal cultivation. This is medicine I continue to apply daily in my own life.

As a gay immigrant, I understand what it means to navigate between worlds: traditional and modern, East and West, who you were and who you're becoming. This lived experience deepens my ability to guide patients through their own transformations.

I maintain a daily qigong practice, study Chinese metaphysics (I Jing, Feng Shui, and Bazi), and continue my own journey through the 9 Stages of Alchemy. I am deeply fascinated by what I do and live with an immense passion for it. Curiosity and passion are the nature of my personality and they touches everything I do in life. I don't just practice this medicine—I embody it in everyway.

Beyond Chinese Medicine I am an avid fitness enthusiast and love working on improving my body through strength training, conditioning, acrobatics, and unique sports like capoeira and saber fencing which I competed in college. My love of working with my hands extends beyond the healing realm. I also love to cook, build things, craft, and create art. I believe artistic and creative expression is invaluable to becoming a decent healer, because at its heart healing is an art form.
